The Winds of Change

LETS ROLL

Now that we've established a place for Townsquare chapters to communicate, let's begin to explore the possibilities.

This week's topic gives you an opportunity to voice your thoughts about structing our blog in such a way as to attract future members for your local chapter.  We'll add comments from our Network Meetup and emails received by your moderator.

Each individual chapter has local issues that may or may not get the attention deserving of grassroots peer support.  Townhall.com has the potential of changing that, but only with active participation by chapter leaders.  Be sure to sign off your blog comments with your chapter name, city and state.

Townsquare Network Live

In twenty six cities around America, Townhall.com fans take what we learn from our online mentors and translate it into actions at the local level. We're called Townsquare Chapters.  I have the pleasure of welcoming our Network partners to our new blog and encouraging other conservative activists to join us.  We've waited for this with great anticipation and you'll soon see our partners blogs listed here as well.  Look for a city near you or form you own chapter.

7-09-06 Sunday Update:

Hi again folks.  I hope some of you caught our first Operation Homefront show on Salem's KCBQ online. This morning we're working on production of our first segment from Sacramento.

Next up is taking a look at blogging on Townhall.com for our network. This addition to our top message is an example of basic editing.  This top message can be edited, but none of the comments that follow. Clearly we've many limitations compared to what we've been used to elsewhere.

As we've said before, ownership of our Townsquare presence on Townhall.com rests with our chapter hosts.  Don't hesitate to volunteer for those co-hosting opportunities as we work our way through the bugs.

One last item for today: Some of you have registered using a nickname rather than your chapter name. In those cases, please sign your posts with your chapter's city and state.  Thanks!
